The term, ‘Griot’, is one of the African titles of a person who tells the history of his Tribal Nation by telling truthful stories of their ancestors.

Since the American system of slavery almost destroyed the normal connection with our fore-parents, I tell the stories of people of African descent, on this continent, whose contributions to the success and progress of this nation, since before day one in 1789, have been largely omitted from the general rendition of our nation’s history.

By telling these stories, I hope to use this “Legacy of the Past” to enlighten and raise people’s consciousness so that we can not only achieve the promise of our Foundational Declaration, but also encourage all of us to direct our energy to forging a more Truth and Justice driven future, and lead the way for all of Humanity to finally implement the first commandment of God, as stated in the Book of Genesis, 1:26-28.
And be The Caretaker of this Planet and Every Living Being On It.
